Numantec, via its US subsidiary Health Line International Corp, acquires the DualCap® product line from Merit Medical Systems, Inc.

Salt Lake City, Utah – February 25, 2026 – Numantec (“Numantec” or “Group”), a global manufacturer of infusion therapy medical devices, today announced, through its US subsidiary, Health Line International Corp (“Health Line”), the acquisition of the DualCap® product line from Merit Medical Systems, Inc. (“Merit Medical”).

The DualCap® product line is a well-established anti-microbial cap used on needle-free access ports used in vascular access and infusion therapy procedures, supporting infection-prevention protocols and streamlining clinical workflows. The product line further strengthens Numantec’s portfolio of vascular access and infusion therapy solutions.

This acquisition creates meaningful synergies, positioning Numantec to accelerate the expansion of the DualCap® product line across Europe, while leveraging the established DualCap® US customer base to cross-sell its broader infusion portfolio.

“This acquisition aligns closely with our strategic focus on infusion medical devices,” said Gabriele Giovanelli, CEO of Numantec and Elliot Faulkner, CEO of Health Line, and Country Manager USA of Numantec. “The DualCap® product line complements our existing offerings and enables us to continue providing reliable, cost-effective solutions to clinicians while maintaining the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.”

Numantec plans a seamless transition of the DualCap® product line, with no anticipated disruption for customers. Manufacturing of DualCap® has been conducted at Health Line’s Salt Lake City facility since before 2017, and commercial and customer support activities will be fully integrated with the Group globally.

“Merit Medical is pleased to transfer the DualCap® product line to Health Line, part of Numantec,” said Martha G. Aronson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Merit Medical. “We believe Health Line and Numantec’s manufacturing expertise and focus on infusion therapy positions them to support the continued success of the product and its customers.”

The transaction underscores Numantec’s ongoing investment in expanding its vascular access portfolio and sales channels through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.

In the transaction, Numantec and Health Line were advised by White & Case LLP, with partner Michael Immordino and associate Elena Ruggiu. Plante Moran led the financial and tax due diligence, as well as general tax consulting, with Scott Sneckenberger and Beth Babich leading the
financial side, and Don Stanovcak and Jason Parish leading the tax side. ProductLife Group conducted the regulatory due diligence, led by Pietro Caiazza.

Merit Medical was advised by Parr Brown Gee and Loveless in connection with the transaction.

The transaction was financed by Banco BPM, as agent bank, and Muzinich & Co.
